3 P's: Parchies Oven Clips, Parchment Paper and Pans

Cooking and Baking is My Love Language: The 3 P’s

Parchies Oven Clips:

Before I had a family I didn’t really pay much attention to the type of pans I was using in the kitchen. The only advice I was given was to purchase a good set of knives and a good set of stainless steel pots. I knew that aluminum cookware was once linked to potential health risks, yet I overlooked the fact that our pans I was using to feed my family were aluminum. Cooking and baking are my language love and I was potentially showering my family with contaminated foods.

I knew I had to rethink my approach hence, The 3 P’s: Parchies Oven Clips, Parchment Paper & Pans.

Parchies Oven Clips are the perfect all-purpose kitchen clip for holding your parchment paper in place. Use them when you are seasoning your ingredients for one-sheet dinners, pouring batter into baking pans, or roasting vegetables. They are silicone-coated and BPA-free, making them totally nontoxic. Plus, you can put them in the dishwasher!

Pans:

Every cook has their favorite tools, but understanding their differences matters.  For the reasons listed below I use aluminum pans with parchment paper. Here’s a quick comparison of pan types:

Parchment Paper:  Parchment paper is “a secret weapon” or “the secret sauce” in the kitchen creating flawless cooking and baking. It’s not just about preventing food from sticking—it’s about creating a kitchen where safety and ease go hand in hand. And before we go any further… yes, parchment paper and Parchies Oven Clips can go in the oven.

Your baking outcomes will remain the same regardless of what color paper you use, white or brown parchment paper. I try to use brown parchment paper as often as I can. Brown parchment paper is unbleached and free of chlorine processing. White parchment paper is less expensive.  No matter the color, both types offer the same benefits:

White and Brown Parchment Paper Benefits:

  • Prevent sticking
  • Speed up cleanup, because who has time for scrubbing?
  • Provide insulation, reducing the risk of burnt bottoms and uneven cooking
  • Act as a protective shield between my food and the metal pan
  • Feature an ultra-thin silicone coating that makes it nonstick and resistant to moisture and heat.

At the end of the day, my kitchen is my sanctuary. It’s where I pour love into every meal, with the 3 P’s: Parchies Oven Clips, Parchment Paper and Pans. Whether I’m baking a batch of perfectly crisp or chewy cookies or roasting a tray of caramelized vegetables, the 3 P's combo is one of those small but mighty tools that I use to deliver food that is safe, delicious, and made with care.
