Product Information and Care

Where are your products made?

  • Parchies Baking Clips are designed in California and ethically manufactured in China.

What are Parchies Baking Clip products made of?

  • We use 100% pharmaceutical-grade silicone and kitchen-grade stainless steel.

Does the silicone contain any chemicals or toxins?

  • We are proud to say our silicone products are BPA- and BPS-free, free from chemicals, toxins, and heavy metals.

What is the heat rating for Parchies Baking Clips?

  • Baking clips can be safely exposed to temperatures up to 450°F, without burning, melting, or breaking.

Are Parchies Baking Clips products dishwasher safe?

  • Yes, Parchies Baking Clips are safe to use in the dishwasher, oven, and fridge. We recommend placing the products on the top rack and avoiding the appliance’s heating element and sharp objects. It's best to wash them after each use, even if it’s just a quick rinse.

Can I remove stains and food from my Parchies?

  • For stains and food, we recommend giving your Baking Clips a good scrub and putting them through a dishwasher cycle. For more stubborn stains, a non-abrasive cleaner, like baking soda and lemon juice, or soaking them overnight should do the trick.

Using Parchment Paper

What is parchment paper?

  • Parchment paper is a non-stick paper used by both home cooks and head chefs for cooking, baking, roasting, and more. Parchment paper is generally heat-safe up to 450 degrees. Parchies Kitchen Clips hold your parchment paper in place and just like the paper, they can go in the oven!

Wax vs. parchment paper

  • The biggest and most important difference between wax paper and parchment paper is that wax paper melts! Because of this, you cannot use wax paper for baking or roasting. Wax paper is useful for storing and wrapping sticky or chilled foods. Parchies Kitchen Clips can help you line pans for treats that aren’t going in the oven, like Rice Krispie treats or no-bake cookies.

Can I put parchment paper in the oven?

  • Yes, the beauty of parchment paper is that it is heat-safe at up to 425 or 450 degrees. Each package of parchment paper should give you the exact temperature!

Can I put parchment paper in the microwave?

  • No, parchment paper cannot be put in the microwave because it can’t withstand the high heat and may catch fire.

Can I put parchment paper in the air fryer?

  • Use caution when putting parchment paper into the air fryer. Always check the heat rating on your parchment paper and don’t exceed the limit. The best practice is to cut the paper so it fits your air fryer and avoid having excess that might trap grease or cause a fire.
